Keyboarding
Welcome to the Ashwaubenon Schools Elementary Keyboarding website! You will find information, resources and teaching tips to help with teaching keyboarding to your students.
Technology is an integral part of our society and having good keyboarding skills will benefit our students throughout their lives. Students will be learning how to type through a method called Herzog. This method will teach students the letters in alphabetic order, which is a learning sequence that is familiar to students and provides learning security.
As students learn keyboarding skills at school it is also important for them to reinforce these skills at home too. By practicing their keyboarding at home this will help with consistency which is one of the keys to success with learning typing.
