SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION INFORMATION
The Ashwaubenon School District has two seats on the school board that are up for the general election on April 1, 2025.

Anyone interested in being a candidate for the office of school board in Ashwaubenon School District and to have their name appear on the spring 2025 election ballot must file a Local Candidate Registration Statement (CF-1L) and a Declaration of Candidacy – School Board Candidates (EL-162sd). These two forms must be filed by mail or in person no later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, in the office of the school district clerk at Ashwaubenon School District Office; 1055 Griffiths Lane; Ashwaubenon, WI 54304; Attention: Jennifer Bower.

SPECIAL NOTE: The District Office will be closed December 24, 2024, through January 1, 2025, for winter break. Regular business hours for the District Office are Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 pm and 7:30 am to 3:30 pm on Fridays. The District Office will be open until the 5:00 pm on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, for acceptance of candidacy documents.
Qualifications for being a School Board Member

A citizen of the United States

18 years or age or older; and
-
A resident of the Ashwaubenon School District for at least 28 consecutive days at the time of filing a Declaration of Candidacy.

December 23, 2024, 5:00 p.m. – Deadline for incumbents to file Notification of Non-Candidacy (i.e. last day district office is open to file this paperwork)

January 7, 2025, 5:00 p.m. – Deadline for candidates to file Declaration of Candidacy and Local Candidate Registration Statement forms

February 18, 2025 – Spring Primary – a Spring Primary will be needed if 5 or more candidates file Candidacy papers for the two seats for Ashwaubenon School Board

- NOTICE IS HERE BY GIVEN that an election to be held in the Ashwaubenon School District on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, the following school board member offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed, whose term of office will expire in April 2025. The term of office for school board members is three years beginning in April 2024.

- NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that is an incumbent does not file a Notification of Non-Candidacy by 5:00 pm on Friday, December 27, 2024, and does not seek re-election, the deadline for filing Declaration of Candidacy and Campaign Registration Finance Statement will be extended an additional 72 hours or no later than 5:00 pm on January 10, 2025.
